About

Tennessee Charpentier, the visionary mind behind Visionary Art by Messiah, hails from the picturesque city of Amiens, France. Nurtured from a young age to explore her innate creativity, Tennessee's journey led her to excel at the esteemed ESAG Penninghen in Paris, where she earned her Masters Degree in Graphic Design.

Choosing to diverge from the conventional path, Tennessee ventured into the Parisian Fashion scene as an Art Director before embarking on a transformative odyssey through Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. Immersed in vibrant cultural festivals, she found inspiration that reshaped her artistic vision.

Now nestled in Melbourne, Tennessee infuses her formal graphic design expertise with elements of visionary art, surrealism, and symbolism, crafting a style uniquely her own. Her canvases serve as conduits for subconscious visions, conveying messages of inner strength and empowerment, urging viewers to embrace their life journeys and pursue self-actualization.

Guided by luminaries of the Visionary Art Movement such as Alex and Allyson Grey, Luis Tamani, Vanessa Lemen, Peter Gric, Daniel Mirante and C.T. Nelson to name a few, Tennessee has honed her craft over the past few years. Her work has been showcased at prominent festivals around the world, from Shambhala in Canada to Ozora in Hungary, Modem Festival in Croatia, Boom in Portugal, Hadra in France and an array of festivals across Australia and the USA, including Lightning in a Bottle, Sonic Bloom, and Desert Heart.
